Artists

My name is Max and I'm an artist and architect.

My artistic style is heavily influenced by architecture and modern cubism, which I find to be an endlessly fascinating and dynamic form of expression. I love exploring the interplay of geometry and color in my work, and creating pieces that showcase the world from different perspectives.

As an architect, I've found that my artistic training has given me a unique ability to incorporate new ideas and perspectives into my designs. I strive to create buildings that are not only functional and efficient, but also visually striking and thought-provoking. I believe that art and architecture have the power to transform our surroundings and inspire us to see the world in a new way.

Whether I'm working on a new painting or a building design, my goal is always the same: to create something that is both beautiful and meaningful. I'm excited to continue exploring the boundaries of cubism and architecture, and I look forward to sharing my work with the world.

As an artist, I am guided by two key principles: a deep appreciation for life and an insatiable desire to be influenced by ideas from different industries and fields. My passion for creating is what drives me; it is essential to my happiness and sense of fulfillment. Through my art, I hope to make small yet meaningful changes in the world around me, including the built environment and fields like sculpture and landscape design.

My inspiration comes from my experiences living and traveling in various places. Having spent 20 years each in the UK and Taiwan, I have been fortunate to explore and learn from diverse cultures and peoples across Europe and Asia. As an artist, I strive to transform the environments I work in by leaving a lasting impression. I believe that art has the power to break down barriers between people, cultures, and religions, and to inspire new ways of seeing the world.

Jack Chung Chieh Huang is a sculptor fascinated by the sensory mechanisms through which architectural spaces influence human psychology. His artistic inspiration primarily stems from observing the living environments and objects in everyday life.

He does not limit himself to a single medium; his works incorporate materials such as clay, plaster, plastic, metal, and leather—anything that can shape space and create diverse tactile experiences. His sculptures often manifest as abstract forms structured through distinctive frameworks and spatial configurations, aiming to evoke the subtle, lingering emotions that wander within one's subconscious in relation to space.

I have received the Excellence Award at the Dadun National Art Exhibition, been recognized as an Emerging Artist at the Kaohsiung Young Art Fair, and was selected for the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village Sculpture Competition. I have also held solo exhibitions at the King Car Art Center, FreeS Art Space, and Hsinchu SSSpace.

Recently, I have begun integrating digital modeling and 3D printing technologies, exploring new possibilities in the production of artworks. I continue to investigate how the act of "hand-molding" and the mental "impulse" interact in new ways as sculpture undergoes digital transformation.
